What Brand to stick for

Hi there,

Conversation of three different ppl

1. Hmm, very interesting topic. What brand to stick (if you don't have money like me)...

2. Or else, what else to buy (if you want to complete your need, speedlight, lens, blah blah)...

3. Or what else to add (if you're plain rich and try to figure out to buy second brand's body)...

I hope i would be damn rich, being the number three

Well, buying brand is actually buying a system
Nikon and Canon is very expensive, because they sell their brands with them

Branding is good, most ppl in the world buy Canon, so canon's gear is the priciest. Most should also represent how much second hand available on market

see http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/ftz/index.php3
one good place to buy second hand, trust me lens is priced crazy, so buy a good second hand

my friend's with a nikon D50 and 18-55mm lens, his lens broke, so be careful dear

some lens can be used together on a different body such as Nikkor lenses on a Canon body, but we need to buy sort of converter, i think

But Nikon cannot use Canon lens, this is all due to design, space it needs

Oh, you're into Photography ayy!

Sorry but all what i said seems not suitable for beginners. Here will, if you want to know more about SLR, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, white balance, bracketing blah blah blah please open the following page...

1. Enjoy! Digital SLR Camera by Canon

2. Step by Step, no boring glossary reading session

you know, I always pick the best

A noiseless dSLR in the future

“Bill did a demo for the class last night, and even showed images shot at 6400 ISO and there were literally gasps in the room at the low levels of noise. You’ve gotta understand; this isn’t just an improvement in the noise and detail—this is way beyond that. Without sounding corny (though it still will), this is like a new dawn in the digital camera era, and now I can see where noise will soon be a non-issue. I was fully expecting to be impressed with the D3’s low noise, but I honestly wasn’t prepared for this. I was blown away. We all were.”

Some says that the future camera, noise will no more be an issue. Erm partially right but people will naturally wants more. Take D3 for example, theres ISO 25,600 which is regarded INSANE by Star techcentral. Bigger range of ISO of course in the future...

Noise will still be an issue, trust me. Theres a time where 0 lux type of low light photography, if you know what i'm saying here

I'll put a link for that comment later, still searching for the page back

CMOS or CCD

i would say CMOS is actually better. The best example is on its characteristic that is no smearing effect

the stigma came from CMOS sensor cost less, the circuit is not and the CCD cost more but the circuit is not. But it is all about the noise issue and originality of pictures taken with it

CMOS is a clear winner as all manufacturer have at least a model of CMOS sensor in it, take Nikon as an example

War must go on

Canon versus Nikon

you know i have made a forum thread in lowyat.net and they delete it out minutes after i published them. it's about make war in the dSLR market

STTP, the war must go on, for the sake of camera buyers. There's a good site that is cameralabs.com that help use to buy among nikons, or canon tonnes of product or perhaps between 10 megabytes camera multi make. I wan't to take into the extent of dSLR makers, because it is about sticking to only one system, and money money money into consideration.

sorry reader, but i have comparative knowledge best for only Canon and Nikon systems only. I'll add more if I know better (some says olympus cleaning unit is the best)

don't stops here, there is an insane company put it 39mpx camera on 48mm sensor. They think some people wants more. Happy for me not many people know this brand, else people will be crazy just to have more mpx than others. Nikon and Canon is Okay Okay level for serious professional photography

if you have too many in your bank to be wasted on, don't open my site please. I'm seriously cannot satisfy your needs

added 06th nov 07... this camera is not a dslr, it is a removable back
